Steamboat

This will have to be short and sweet as I have a load of college work to be doing! I got back from Steamboat Springs yesterday after 3 days of racing. CU Boulder hosted an invitational college event, one slalom and two giant slaloms, so there were quite a lot of top skiers there to compete with! The skiing improved significantly from the last race series, but I couldn't seem to make it down without making a couple mistakes each run. With the improved skiing comes more speed, creating more room for mistakes if you aren't ready to handle them. However, I'm just glad I found a little bit of my intensity back, something that has been hard to come by since the Olympics. I'm looking forward to fixing these mistakes in training and laying down some solid runs at the next race series. The plan is to head to La Crosse, Wisconsin at the end of this week, so I'll keep you posted.
