Home

The first leg of this summer's journey was to go home. After attending my cousin's wedding near Dublin, I ventured south through the usual family spots on my way to Kerry. No matter how many times I pass this route, the scenery and the feeling of being home is still as strong as ever.

To me, the Kingdom can only be described with one word: magical. From the welcoming people to rolling green hills and the crash of the ocean waves, it truly encompasses all of what Ireland is, or at least what it should be.

The people of Ireland can, on many occasions, be closed off. The way people opened up to the camera was fascinating, showing me that everyone has some idea, or not, of the way they want to live their life. I'll miss the quiet nights down the pier and the simple way of life on this island. For now, it's onto the next one.
